Terms of use

The short version: your private recipes remain yours, creators keep their credit, and nothing charges you without a store purchase you confirm.

Version 2 · Last updated 13 September 2026

Using Zaika

You need an account to sync and save private recipes. You are responsible for the content you import and must have the right to keep and use it. Zaika is a personal organizer, not permission to republish someone else’s work.

Do not use Zaika to remove attribution, impersonate a creator, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute unlawful or harmful content, interfere with the service, or bulk-scrape a creator’s catalog.

Free and Pro features

The cookbook, current planning window, grocery lists, cook mode, manual entry, and ingredient substitutions are available without a Pro subscription, and browsing Discover is never limited. Adding recipes is free up to 5 per week: each import counts, whether or not Zaika has read that link before, and so does each recipe you save from Discover. An import that fails does not count.

Zaika Pro removes the weekly recipe limit and adds features identified as Pro in the app, including extended planning, nutrition estimates, unlimited translations, and PDF export. The current feature list is shown before purchase and may change as Zaika improves; a change will not remove access you are legally entitled to during an already-paid period.

When the free weekly limit is reached, Zaika keeps an import in the import tray instead of silently discarding it, and a Discover recipe stays in Discover for you to save later. The app will tell you whether it can be completed after the limit resets or after you upgrade.

Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation

Zaika may offer monthly and annual subscriptions. The app displays the plan duration, current local price, renewal terms, and any eligible introductory trial before you confirm a purchase. Storefront pricing and eligibility come from Apple or Google and can differ by region and account.

Payment is charged to your app-store account. Unless you cancel before renewal under your store’s rules, the subscription renews automatically at the disclosed price. You manage cancellation from Apple or Google subscription settings; deleting the app or your Zaika account does not itself cancel the store subscription.

Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the app store’s rules. Restore Purchases can recover an eligible entitlement without charging you again.

Creators and source content

Imported recipes retain the source and creator attribution available to Zaika on recipe cards, shares, exports, and saved copies. You may not present another creator’s work as your own. Creators can claim a profile, report a problem, or request removal through the creators page.

AI results, recipes, and health information

Software can misread a source. Zaika marks uncertain fields where possible, but you must check quantities, allergens, cooking times, temperatures, storage advice, and food safety before relying on a recipe.

Nutrition figures and substitutions are estimates for general guidance, not medical, allergy, or dietary advice. Consult an appropriate professional when a decision affects health or safety.

Availability and account action

We work to keep Zaika available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Supported source sites can change access without notice, so a particular link or media import may stop working.

You may delete your account at any time. We may restrict or close an account that materially violates these terms, threatens the service, or harms another person. See Privacy for data handling and the deletion recovery window.
